Word order
…, damit + subject + … + verb · um + … + zu + infinitiveThe finite verb is final in a damit clause. An um … zu phrase has no finite verb; zu and the infinitive appear at the end.

I am saving money in order to travel in summer.

Common mistakes
Do not use um … zu when the subjects are different.
Put the finite verb at the end after damit.
